greet Hotel Massieux Lyon Nord

We arrived later than expected but that was no problem for the hotel. We were further met by a friendly lady. Because we are travelling with a large car and trailer, we were allocated some places so that we could park safely and practically. The lady on duty handed us the keys and gave us the necessary explanation. The rooms were very clean. You saw that they were dyeing and upgrading everything again. The room was fresh due to the air conditioning. Towels and soap provided. Breakfast was also generous. Fresh cheeses, baguettes, croissants, bread with nuts and raisins, various cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit etc. Highly recommended for us. We found our permanent hotel for our trip to Spain.

Cleanliness was excellent. One of the reception staff was superb (Nigerian woman) super helpful and friendly and she speaks perfect English which was helpful. Onto the restaurant which I believe is a separate business adjoining the hotel. The food is simply divine and the service albeit slowish is very good. Eating here was a very pleasant experience. We didn’t eat breakfast so feel unable to comment. Good hotel and it is fantastic value just a bit from the A46 so location perfect if travelling down to the South.

The location was perfect just a minute off the main road. The entrance was secure and the out of hours procedure was simple to follow. The room was immaculate and most importantly the hotel was quiet.

Good access to motorway. Secure parking. Excellent restaurant. Clean room and decent sized shower.
